“A man is what he thinks all day long. Just like a seed germinates to grow up into a beautiful plant, our thoughts are like seeds planted in our mind, seeds which give rise to words, words which leads to actions, repeated actions which turn into habits and habits which finally give rise to values. Our mind is not just capable of ruling our lives but also capable of ruining it”. These were the thoughts shared by Dr K Bhujang Shetty, Chairman, Narayana Nethralaya who was the Chief Guest of the Life Science Association inauguration on June 25, 2016 in the Auditorium, Block IV at 3 P.M.
The event started with a dance programme by CBZ students. The Chief Guest Dr Shetty, HOD of Life Sciences, Fr Jobi Xavier, Faculty Coordinator of the Association of the current year Dr Ganesh S and the former Coordinator Dr Suma S lighted the lamp and inaugurated the event. Dr Ganesh then introduced all the office bearers of the association. Dr Bhujang Shettty stressed on the holistic approach one should have towards oneself and the society. The mandate of the Life Science Association is to organize guest lectures by experts in the field and to inspire the young minds to work towards the success and enrichment of both themselves as well as the Association.
